Dyson School of Design Engineering make the DE-Arm

Whilst looking for some classic code on github we stumbled upon this fantastic robotics project, based on the MeArm.

Students of the Innovation Design Engineering (MA/MSc) and Global Innovation Design (MA/MSc) course embark on a Cyberphysical Systems module, where they build a DE-Arm (based on the MeArm v3.0 available in store), and connect it with an Arduino and a Wekinator.

It would appear that after this the students embark on their own creative projects, as featured in this fantastic video.

More details about the DE-Arm and projects can be found in the department's github repo.
