An Evening with Master Roboteer McAleer

An Evening with Master Roboteer McAleer

Last month we visited the excellent Makers Central event at the Birmingham NEC. This event had a host of headline attractions from across the globe and it was a great opportunity to meet and catch up with the great and the good of the UK Maker Scene. I was very fortunate to meet Kevin McAleer, who's website and YouTube channel I've been spending some time with lately.

It turned out that Kevin had also been keen on the MeArm project but had not yet built his own! We sent him a kit to try and he was so pleased with the kit and its potential that he featured it on a live event on his YouTube channel:

We joined in via chat and had a great time being part of the action on screen with a MeArm Maker Kit.

I recently purchased a MeArm robot and have successfully assembled most components. However, I’m encountering difficulty securing the blue handle, despite trying different screws and even replacing the handle. The part does not secure properly with the provided screws. I’ve double-checked the assembly instructions, but the issue persists. Could you please provide guidance on resolving this matter?
